Formerly Harry’s Tap Room – now a steak house, Not a successful transition. First, you have a huge open door onto the kitchen that pours out fluorescent light toward certain seats (not many – but mine). If most of your menu is $30 steaks you should do better.
I got a chopped salad that was the crunchiest I ever encountered – so heavy on carrot and radish pieces that I ate less than half. I got the short bib meat hamburger medium – supposedly some pink in the middle. It was overdone, dry, and tasteless. Returning it would have meant spending much more of the evening there.
My wife had salmon – it was fine but if you’re going to be paying these prices there are much more interesting salmon dishes around town.
Maybe the steaks are really good but I’ll leave it to others to find out.
