I had a fraud charge of $149 on my account in June, 2015 which was at Levi store in San Francisco. It took Macy’s 6 months to clear this mess and decide it was definitely a fraud.
In the meantime, they started charging me interest and fees which accumulated to $91.40. It took me weeks to get the fees off my account and trying to explain these fees were for a fraud that was being investigated and was against the law to charge me fees for something I never purchased in the first place. After I received a letter stating the fraud had been cleared, I received a check last week for $91.40 for the fees I never paid. This is definitely poor bookkeeping.
