I am a forty-five-year-old man and due to the increasing age my face started to wrinkle and fat was stored at the bottom of my chin, I was a manager of a reputed company and didn’t want to have a shabby look because of my ageing skin. I started searching for solutions for it and came out with the best among all that was a facelift.
The advanced technology made it easier and less painful. I decided to get the surgery done. I then started searching for a place where the surgery could take place. After doing a lot of research I came out to know about a surgeon named Andre Panossian. He was currently practising at his dispensary and had a very reputed profile. He was a professional doctor as stated on the website but he wasn’t the same in real.
I mistakenly made an appointment with him because of all the positivity he spread on his official webpage. I went into his clinic and was kept waiting for some time. He called me in and didn’t speak a word because he was busy with his cell phone. I initiated with a warm hello to which his reply was ‘hmm’.
It was kind of rude but I started telling him about the problem with my facial figure and asked him whether am fit for this surgery or not. He didn’t even check me up before confirming and fixed a date for the surgery to take place. I requested him to check me up so that it could work as a precaution but he simply denied telling me that he knows his work well and didn’t need any advice.
This was again a rude reply. He didn’t communicate with me and made a prescription to follow the medicines for a few days until the next appointment.
I came in the day of my appointment and was kept waiting for more than half an hour because the surgeon was not ready. He called me in after a while and told me to lay down in the recliner so that he could begin. Everything went well until he started complicating the procedure of anaesthesia.
The machine started hurting my cheeks and it was unbearable after some time. I told him to stop but he kept on with his work telling me not to be restless. The process took more than 4 hours and my face was partially numb and I could barely speak. I made the payment and went away in pain.
My mind was full of distress and my face had several scars. The pain remained for a week and every time I tried chewing the food, the jaw hurt. I had to live on a liquid diet for a few days.
I phoned him any time to know about such complications caused after the surgery and the recommendation that I should take. He didn’t pick up my call and I was left helpless. All I could do was regret and cry out of pain for going to Andre Panossian, MD.
He shouldn’t be called a professional because his work was full of pain and he had a very rude attitude which none of the patients would like. Please don’t go to him. I still have the scar made by his surgery. Stay away.
